When Pastors Jymme and Lana came to Fresno, California in 2003, they found themselves in great need. A local church heard of their plight and brought them a box overflowing with food and supplies. Pastor Lana made a promise to the Lord that someday she would like to be able to do the same for her new community, and now years later, Breaking Free Food Distribution has fed thousands of households with food and goods collected from our generous partners, which include the Fresno Food Bank, Walmart, Chipotle, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, Chick Fil-A, Whole Foods and others.

BFFD’s mission is to provide food for the needy in our community in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. A picture of the original box of food donated in 2003 is in Pastor Lana’s office and provides inspiration to this day.
